You set your home location once during the two-minute Wi-Fi setup in the companion app — either by searching your town or dropping a pin on the map. From then on, everything is hyper-local to that spot: the temperature, the hourly rain bars, the radar (which centres on your home automatically), and the severe alerts. Yes. Alongside your home location you can add extra locations from the app — the city where your family lives, your office across town, or next week's holiday destination. SkyWatch cycles through them automatically on a timer you control, or you can tap the display to jump between locations on demand. It does. The radar view plays a rolling loop of the most recent frames over a real street map of your area, so you can see rain bands and storm cells actually moving — which direction they're heading and roughly how fast. Precipitation is colour-coded by intensity, from light drizzle through to heavy downpours and snow, and you can pan and zoom from your neighbourhood out to a view covering hundreds of miles. It's the difference between "40% chance of rain" and watching the shower that's going to miss you slide past to the north.
